Pre-orders
Several Phenomenon Books titles are sold as pre-orders. Your card is charged when you place the order, and the book ships on or around its stated release date (for example, Patterns of Knowledge ships at the end of July 2026). The expected release month is shown on each book's page and in the product description at checkout.
You may cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time before it ships — just email us at editorial@phenomenonbooks.com.
Where we ship
We currently ship to the United States, Canada, and France. If you are elsewhere and would like a copy, write to us and we will do our best to help.
Shipping cost & delivery
- United States & Canada (Ground): $5 per order.
- International (France): $20 per order.
Orders that are in stock ship within 3–5 business days. Typical delivery is 5–10 business days domestically and 2–4 weeks internationally, depending on the carrier and customs. Pre-orders ship once the title is released.
Damaged or defective books
If your book arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, email editorial@phenomenonbooks.com within 30 days of delivery with your order details and a photo. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund, at your choice, at no cost to you.
Returns & refunds
Because these are printed books, we do not accept general change-of-mind returns once an order has shipped. Refunds are provided for cancelled pre-orders (before shipping) and for damaged, defective, or lost shipments. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
